Jackson Pollock. (Anna & Dan)

While at the Yale University Art Gallery, a Jackson Pollock painting caught Anna’s eye. After Anna caught Dan glancing over at the same Pollock painting (for the eighth time!), she realized that perhaps the painting wasn’t the only thing that was catching his eye. A bold “are you going to ask for my number?” commenced their romance. The attraction? Instant. The differences? Vast. While Dan and Anna have different backgrounds (and even different first languages), they make their differences work perfectly in sync. While Dan is a self-proclaimed “neat freak”, Anna is, by her self-admission…not. While Anna finds joy in frequenting her favorite restaurant, IHOP, Dan is a foodie that’s always on the lookout for new and adventurous cuisine. Dan has closets full of his clothes, while Anna has closets that are devoted solely to her shoes. Clearly, these differences aren’t as impactful as their similarities. Their passion for life, kindness towards one another, and penchant for adventure fuels their relationship!

It was only appropriate that their wedding be a reflection of their personalities and styles! Impeccable design and wedding planning by Olha Barabash of Sense of Moment guided the aura of the celebration. Anna and Dan’s on-site wedding ceremony included the perfect combinations to welcome their guests. The majestic setting of Whitby Castle, with ceremony music by Roman Lupu (aka Y-LIMIT), coupled with Rev. Samora officiating, set the tone for the elegant celebration that was soon to come. After the ceremony and some cocktail accommodation, guests made their way into the main ballroom, adorned with floral and ceiling décor, custom lighting, and a bespoke photo station. Personalized elements by wedding MC Artem Lomaz engaged the guests throughout the reception. Guests dined, danced, and interacted with Anna and Dan all evening, capped off by a sparkler exit send-off.
